One essential piece of camping equipment  is a reliable cooler where you stock all your beverages and keep them cool.   One of the best cooking tips in camping is to include a large bowl of salad which you could easily store in the cooler if there are leftovers.  Salads are excellent for cooking while camping since  it does not really require any cooking at all.  This is an easy and fun way to keep you and your companions well fed and happy while camping.  All you really need to add is some dressing to add more flavor.

Having a salad included in your meal plan during camp is probably one of the most practical and compact foods that you could eat during camp.  Plus, do not forget that they are also a great side dish when you have hotdogs, sausages, or steaks which are always a food must-have when camping.

A Great Chance For Barbecue Meals

Since you are staying outdoors, take advantage of the idea that you could have a barbecue without any of your neighbors complaining that they are being bothered with the smoke emitting from your grill.  This is one of the best cooking methods in camping that you could do plus, you also get to ask your companions like your kids or the mister to do the barbecuing.  All you need is a portable barbecue grill or even an open fire from the bonfire, and you could immediately start cooking while camping.
