Camping is a great way to have a short notice, low hassle holiday.  Once you have the gear, all you have to do is find a camp site, and go.  Your first trip will take some planning, as you will need a tend, a roll-out mat to sleep on, and camp chairs, etc – but after that all you will need to do is gather the perishable supplies – food and drink, before you leave.
